Green vegetable papaya

Regularly eating papayas improves health and the quality of life, not just because of the taste of the food itself but because it aids digestion and because of its healing powers.
Papayas contain vitamins, minerals and many natural materials. Unique among them is the proteolytic enzyme, which catalyzes the degradation of proteins to amino acids; these are the building blocks for the body and therefore eating papaya with a meal speeds up the digestive process and the wastes and toxins are rapidly evacuated from the gastrointestinal tract.

Aurora is the queen of the papayas. This strain was cultivated to be very tasty, with no  after-taste or off-putting odor. During cultivation, as well as achieving the special health properties, we also developed a fruit which is highly efficient and very easy to prepare, with its smooth skin and thick wall cavity, with few or no seeds. The flesh is easy and fast to cook, and the shelf life is very long

In South-East Asia the papaya is eaten as the main vegetable. This is the papaya before it has matured.  It should be green all over, or with just the first signs of changing to yellow. It must be fully osmotic- not soft at all and with flesh with a whitish- green or greenish-yellow tint.


How to eat the “Aurora” green papaya?
To cook
Slice and cube a green papaya and add it to a soup or casserole with seasoned meat, rice, etc. The green papaya takes on the taste and flavor of the spices used. Adding green papaya to the dish makes it healthier and easier to digest.

In salad
Peel, slice and cut the papaya using a food processor or grater, or use a peeler to cut it into thin strips; add olive oil and spices such as turmeric, ginger, lemon, salt, ground black or red pepper. Try adding chopped tomatoes, peanuts, canned tuna or sardines.
This salad is a super-food; because of the health benefits arising from the synergies within (the properties of?) each component it prevents cancer, heals inflammation and more and more…. 

WARNING! It is advisable to wear gloves when handling green papayas. LIKE AN ONION, Do not rub your eyes after touching the fruit and wash your hands immediately afterwards so you don’t forget and then touch your eyes, causing a burning sensation.



Dietary and medical value of the green papaya
Green papaya  contain  less vitamins and sugar than the ripe papaya, but more Papain  and other enzymes which are capable of breaking down fundamental rectangular complex proteins called amino acids, the basic bricks used by the body to form the proteins it needs.
Normally the body does not use protein as consumed and the gastrointestinal tract dismantles the amino acids. The enzymes found in the green papaya, called papain and Cimoffain, function as catalysts, which break down the proteins and therefore stimulate protein digestion. This activity improves the efficiency of the food
induction, as well as cleaning the intestines and preventing the absorption of toxins and waste materials found in food. It seems also that our capacity to digest protein decreases over the years and this too indicates the importance of papaya consumption as we get older.

How can we use this feature of the papaya? By eating it in a salad, then letting the stomach react, or by eating it cooked with the meat and then the action will begin while cooking.


Preventing oxidation and preventing cancer.
The great protection which photochemicals give includes countless benefits and causes biochemical processes in the body.
